Ink & Iron Tattoo Convention comes to Birmingham on Sunday 11 April at The Tower in Edgbaston. Come and check out famous tattoo artists, various acts, trade stalls, live music and a tattoo parade. Look After Your Tattoo...

There are a few things you have to remember after having a tattoo. You've just spent hours of your time, not to mention money, you want to get the most out of your stunning artwork. Here are a few steps to follow after getting inked:

1. Keep your dressing on for 1 hour
2. Remove your dressing and wash with warm soapy water. DAB DRY - GENTLY!
3. Apply a small amount of healing cream (we suggest Bepanthen, available at most chemists) and rub in gently, twice a day for the first 2 days.
4. After 2 days, moisturise your tattoo until healed.
5. Remember a new tattoo is an open wound

Always keep new tattoo's clean, if you have any other questions get in touch.
